So the other day I was giving Todd and Ethan haircuts as I usually do and as I was finishing Ethan up Cambree asked if it was her turn next.
She DID need a haircut BUT, was I brave enough to do it.
I thought to myself, " It can't be THAT much harder than Ethan's." (Uhmmm..looking back....maybe I shouldn't think too much :)

Todd was totally on board.....mostly cuz he hates to spend money on haircuts or other things that HE doesn't want to spend money on. A ten dollar haircut is something questionable......but an eight thousand dollar motorcycle definitely makes the list!
I though ok...maybe I will just trim 1/4" off just to see if I could do it and thought if I screwed up I would take her in to get it fixed and she would still come out ok.

So I started and took what I thought would be a good quarter inch all the way around. Then looked and one side was longer than the other. What!? How did that happen? So I tried to take a bit more off the one side to even it out. Then the other side was uneven. Seriously!!?? Now I am starting to get frustrated. And now I am MORE determined than EVER! I tried to even it

up and then tried to do a lit bit of a layer so that you couldn't tell as much. I think I ended up taking off an inch and a half to two inches of hair. Whoops! I was a little disappointed that I cut more than I told myself but I think overall I didn't do too bad. The more and more I think about it, I get more prouder of my beautician skills! (more prouder??...maybe I'll start working on my English skills next)

Cambree was so excited and ran into the bathroom and looked in the mirror got a BIG SMILE and said, "OOOOHHH...I am so pretty....like a princess!" So I guess she LOVES it!!!
And I guess it was a good learning experience as well.
I guess we will see what everyone thinks!! And be honest please. I would rather someone say, "uhmmm...chris....ya...maybe you shouldn't do

that EVER again." RATHER than my daughter walking around with one proud mother and one hideous haircut.
But nonetheless, good OR bad haircut, I have a BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER!
