I'm a daddy...and she's a mommy.

The other day, Todd and I were at the computer paying bills while the kids were playing. Well we didn't notice that they had snuck into our closet and had shut the door. We started to hear loud giggles coming from behind the door. So I walked over to the door and listened and this is what I heard......(ethan)"Cambree....you be the mommy and I will be the daddy..ok!" (cambree) "ok....I am da mommy and I do like dis." I don't know what she did but I can only guess she was twirling cuz she does that alot when she wears a dress. Then...(ethan)"No Cambree......daddy is supposed to give the mommy hugs and kisses...like this".....(giggles and more giggles).....(cambree)"let's dance..ok?".....(ethan)"ok".
This is when I had to open the door and see what they were doing and this is what I found..... Ethan was wearing one of Todd's shirts and Cambree had gotten on one of my dresses.
They are too funny! I asked what they were doing and they said, "we are being a mommy and a daddy!" All smiles and giggling. I asked them what did mommy's and daddy's do and they gave each other a hug and kiss. Ethan then leaned in and gave Cambree a kiss on the cheek. Too sweet. Especially since most of the time he thinks kissing is gross. Then once they knew they weren't in trouble for getting into the closet they went lose running into the living room and proceeded to "dance" together and "hold hands", all things they think mommy's and daddy's do. We do often turn music on in the living room and dance with the kids so I think that's where they got that from.

It was hilarious watching them being a mommy and a daddy! I am glad they were huggin and kissin and dancin' rather than argueing or something like that. :) Oh boy....I have cute kids!

That is the sweetest story!

And as a big bonus, it will be killer leverage material when they're mortified teenagers! :)

P.S. I like your paisley layout!
