Adalynn's 6 Weeks!

I'm a little late on this post.

I decided that I would try to take some pics of Adalynn at 6 weeks old. She did so well and is growing so big. I then attempted pictures of the three kids together which was challenging to say the least. I think we got a couple of decent shots. At least as good as they're going to get considering the circumstances.

Adalynn grins alot in her sleep as you can see by one of the pictures below. She seems to focus well on people and just stares straight at you. She is a very gassy baby as some of you have been able to witness(sorry) and can create a bit of stank with some of those toots! Cambree has noticed this and everytime Adalynn toots she responds ...."eeeewww....stinkeeeee....tooter" even if it doesn't stink. She is such a good baby and has been sleeping 6-8 hour stretches during the night. Which is great news for everybody because mom is a lot less grumpy when she gets her sleep. She has been eating well and is infact my best nurser. Or it could be that by baby #3 I am finally getting it down. Who knows.

Ethan and Cambree love her very much and sometimes a little too much! They can sometimes get one inch from her face trying to sing or talk to her and Adalynn gets this confused look on her face as she despretaly tries to focus on who is in front of her. Cambree has had a little bit of jeoulosy issues. She wants to snuggle with mommy of course everytime I feed the baby and sometimes gets mad when I say, "after I feed the baby" so she will try to hit the baby and say "no no baby". Usually I can distract her with a few tricks like being a big helper and throwing the baby's diaper in the garbage or finding her dolly who is crying and needs a snuggle. Ethan has been a big helper. He helps with just about everything. Sometimes I think I ask too much of him because sometimes he will look at me like..'mom...seriously...again' and say with a sigh, "ok"! What a good son he is!

Adalynn is healthy and happy and we are blessed to have her here.
