Black Friday Madness!!

Yes! I was one of the crazy moms shopping at the butt crack of dawn!! 3:30am I awoke to go shopping with my sister-in-laws Annie and Jenny! Oh boy it was crazy but it was fun and we got some killer deals!!
By the time we got out of the first store
we had filled the trunk of the car and
notice it's still dark outside!

I even got wounded!! This picture was taken almost a week later and has lessened in color. I'd like to say I had a cool story to back me up but alas I was just a big klutz!!!

By the end of the day the sun rose, I was hidden in the backseat burried with sacks

and sacks of fun Christmas gifts for family and friends. It was tiring but oh what an adventure!!

Okay, so I have never done this, but I keep hearing my friends stories and I think that next year I am going to try to get my mom to go with me. Can you imagine her out that early. It would be great. I am sorry that you were hurt. Good times.

Whoa! That bruise still does look pretty nasty. It sure sounded like it hurt when it happened.

Christy-- I found your blog on Melissa's. I guess if this is the only way that the Scott family stays somewhat connected than so be it. Your family is beautiful and you look so happy. How is everything? I didn't go shopping this year but I really think it is totally worth it and so much fun. I remember laughing so hard the time I did it that I peed my pants. Anyway, I'm glad that I found your blog. Happy Holidays!

We're pretty nuts aren't we! It was pretty fun to shop in the madness together and I'm a sucker for a bargain! I hope your bruise is getting better, it still looks pretty painful!

So, Christy, I've just discoverd all 3 of you Barton girl's blogs today, and I must say your blogs are all too cute! Thanks for adding us to your list, I'm adding you to mine, as well. Isn't this blogging world awesome? Great way to keep in touch w/ fam and friends. BTW, I think all you Black Friday Crazies are just that - crazy! I like to stay in the comfort (and warmth) of my bed that morning, personally, but I've gotta hand it to you, ladies!
